Hi everyone! My name is Nicole Ercan. I am so excited to be a part of the Apara team. I accepted the role of Clinical Director for the Bellaire location in October 2021.
I am originally from the small town of Franklin, TX. Growing up I spent many summers in Las Vegas, NM where I later attended New Mexico Highlands University to earn my Bachelor of Fine Arts in music, and my Master of Arts in Special Education. While completing my graduate degree I moved to Houston to work for Yes Prep Schools as a special education teacher. During my time with the school, I was introduced to ABA, and made the easy decision to pursue it as a career. In 2014, I began working in the field while attending University of Cincinnati Online to receive my certification in ABA.
My time working in ABA has been absolutely inspiring, because of the people that I have had the opportunity to work with, and their passion for helping others. I have found myself surrounded with so many creative and driven individuals that play key-roles in paving the way for children and families. It is so exciting to go into work every day to work side-by-side with a team that shares the same goals of improving the lives of our clients and families through evidence-based practices.
When I am not in the office, you can find me at local theaters supporting the arts or home with my four fur babies (three dogs, and one spoiled cat).
I am so thrilled to be part of this wonderful company with so many knowledgeable and talented team members. I cannot wait to see what the future holds!
