Hi everyone! My name is Gianna Jove and I joined APARA Autism Center in October of 2020 as a Board-Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA) at their Katy, TX location.
I was born and raised in Bolingbrook, Illinois and later moved to Atlanta, Georgia where I completed my undergraduate coursework. Both my parents are Puerto Rican, so I’m grateful that they required me to learn Spanish so now I am bilingual in English and Spanish. I love to dance too!!
I gained my passion for working specifically with kids after I graduated from Georgia State University. I had the opportunity to start as an ABA Therapist at the Blossom Center for Children in San Antonio, TX in 2014. I started to learn more about ABA therapy every day which expanded my knowledge and skills. I decided to complete my master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from Ball State University. In 2016 I became a BCBA and immediately jumped in to work with my clients in a clinical setting. I worked at Blossom Center for Children until October 2020 before I joined APARA Autism Center.
Oh, and I am obsessed with my puppy Milo! He is a big dog in a small body, he keeps me on my toes but gives me so much love!
There are no words to describe how much I love what I do. I meet and work with so many families who are immensely appreciative of us even though it may not seem like it at first, but also seeing them grow and progress fills my heart with joy and enthusiasm to continually do better for all of them and their families.
