In-Home Therapy
Individually tailored ABA therapy services near you, provided in the comfort of your home.
Key Features of In-Home ABA Therapy Services
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy at home simplifies caregiver involvement, allowing family members to learn from behavior analysts and effectively support the child’s progress.
With ABA therapy in-home, skills are taught in the same environment where daily behaviors occur. For instance, personal hygiene skills like brushing teeth and washing hands can be practiced using the child’s own sink, toothbrush, and towels.
At Apara, we offer collaborative in-home ABA therapy near you to support and guide your entire family within the comfort of your home. This approach is convenient and eliminates the need for your child to transition between different locations.
Benefits of In-Home ABA Therapy Near You
Benefits of in-home ABA therapy in Texas include:
- Convenience: Therapy takes place in your home, so your child doesn’t have to switch locations.
- Natural Learning: Your child learns self-help skills in their natural environment.
- Family Involvement: Siblings and parents can be included in the in-home autism therapy program.
- Caregiver Empowerment: Caregivers can become more involved in the therapy process.
How In-Home Autism Therapy Works
Our in-home therapy process is a personalized, three-step journey designed to ensure your child receives the most effective care in a comfortable and familiar setting.
Step 1: Initial Assessment & Goal Setting
A Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) will conduct an initial assessment in your home to understand your child’s needs. We then partner with your family to create a personalized treatment plan with clear, achievable goals.
Step 2: Implementation & In-Home ABA Therapy Sessions
Our skilled therapists provide regular, one-on-one sessions in your home using evidence-based ABA techniques. This in home ABA therapy approach helps your child learn skills in their natural environment for lasting success. We also provide caregiver training so you can support your child’s progress daily.
Step 3: Ongoing Evaluation & Collaboration
Your BCBA will continuously track your child’s progress through data collection and regular meetings with your family. This collaborative approach ensures the therapy is always effective and tailored to your child’s evolving needs.

In-Home Based Therapy Service Offerings
Social Skills Groups
At Apara Autism Centers, we offer specialized social skills services to help individuals develop essential interpersonal abilities. Using evidence-based in-home ABA therapy, our skilled team works one-on-one with clients to enhance communication, empathy, cooperation, and friendship-building skills. Our personalized programs foster confidence and social competence in various settings, from home to center. By creating a supportive and engaging environment, we empower our clients to navigate social interactions with ease.
Telehealth Services
Virtual ABA therapy, or telehealth, allows your child to access the benefits of therapy from the comfort of home, using a laptop, tablet, or smartphone. Our dedicated staff is trained to deliver virtual ABA therapy through HIPAA-compliant technology, ensuring convenience and accessibility for your family. This option provides essential services for immunocompromised children and addresses challenges related to remote locations that may delay or inhibit therapy delivery in other settings.
Feeding Therapy Collaboration
The process of mealtime can be difficult not only for the child but also for parents, and the proper type of assistance can do a world of good. While we do not conduct feeding therapy ourselves, we always cooperate with reliable third-party specialists who provide this particular service. We work together to help overcome many types of problems related to nutrition, including fussy eating, picky eating, and other behavioral issues. Our professionals help manage the collaboration, obtain appropriate medical clearance, and collaborate with other practitioners to ensure safety and stress-free mealtimes for your whole family.
Speech and Language Therapy Collaboration
Collaboration between different practitioners allows obtaining the best results. Although we do not conduct speech or language therapy, our professionals always collaborate with your child’s Speech-Language Pathologist/Occupational Therapist. In the event that there is no such provider at the moment, we can give you some recommendations on what to choose. We try to establish cooperation with these specialists in order to set up common goals and approaches to therapy.
Caregiver Training
Caregiver training is an integral part of our in-home ABA therapy program. We believe that the more training a parent has in ABA and their child’s specific programming, the better outcome we will see in the future. Each family will have one-on-one meetings with their BCBA and will be highly involved with their child’s programming and goals. We are a team at Apara, and we want to collaborate with all!
Community & Partner Training
Apara Autism Center is committed to training the community to better understand and support individuals with autism and their families. We believe that community collaboration is key to helping individuals reach their full potential. Through our individualized Community Training program, we provide training to various community partners, including schools, daycare facilities, medical professionals, and first responders. The trainings are designed to help these partners incorporate the principles of in-home ABA therapy into everyday life, empowering them to effectively help families and individuals with autism.
