In-Home Therapy
Individually Tailored ABA interventions provided in the comfort of home.
Key Features
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy at home simplifies caregiver involvement, allowing family members to learn from behavior analysts and effectively support the child’s progress.
With ABA therapy at home, skills are taught in the same environment where daily behaviors occur. For instance, personal hygiene skills like brushing teeth and washing hands can be practiced using the child’s own sink, toothbrush, and towels.
At Apara, we offer collaborative ABA therapy that supports and guides your entire family within the comfort of your home. This approach is convenient and eliminates the need for your child to transition between different locations.
Benefits of in-home ABA therapy include:
- In-home ABA Therapy is conveniently provided at your house, so your child doesn’t need to switch between locations or settings.
- Children can interact with siblings, parents, and other family members as part of their ABA program.
- Children are able to learn self-help skills in their natural environment.
- Increased involvement from caregivers.

Feeding Therapy
Our feeding program is designed to work with those individuals who engage in problem behaviors around eating new or common foods. This program is based on behavioral principles and evidence-based practices to address concerns such as texture sensitivity, general mealtime problem behaviors, and refusal to feed themselves among others. The Apara Autism Center’s feeding program is individualized and implemented with additional parent/caregiver consent after all physiological and oral-motor concerns are ruled out by medical professionals.
Speech and Language Therapy
Sticking to our mission and beliefs in the need to combine ABA Therapy with other disciplines, Apara Autism Center will work with your Speech Therapist or Occupational Therapist in the Apara clinical care setting. If you don’t have a Speech Therapist and this service is medically necessary, Apara can provide internal referrals to help you start the service in the clinic. Speech Therapy follows evidence-based practices and includes individualized treatment plans for each child receiving Speech services. Our BCBAs and your SLPs collaborate along with our parents to create and maintain a highly effective program for your child.
Caregiver Training
Caregiver training is an integral part of our ABA therapy services program. We believe that the more training a parent has in ABA and their child’s specific programming, the better outcome we will see in the future. Each family will have one on one meetings with their BCBA and will be highly involved with their child’s programming and goals. We are a team at Apara, and we want to collaborate with all!
Community & Partner Training
Apara Autism Center strongly believes in training the community to help understand and protect our individuals living with Autism and their families. Collaboration in the community is key when helping an individual reach their fullest potential. Apara’s goal in our Community Training program is to help the community understand Autism and how they can help a family in need.
Our trainings are individualized for each community partner and target the incorporation of the principles of ABA therapy into everyday life for a person with Autism. Trainings can be provided to schools, daycare facilities, medical professionals, first responders and the like.

“I can write pages of praise about the memorial location of Apara… every plan was customized for HIM. It was individual to his needs and if something didn’t work she made sure to change the way it was taught and never gave up. She always saw the potential in my son and as a parent I can never be thankful enough. Also, her team of RBT’s are compassionate, personable, attentive and always willing to go that extra step!”
