Susie has been working in the field of ABA for over 6 years.
Susie attended Baylor University and graduated with a degree in Child Development and Family Studies, so she knew she always wanted to work with children. She discovered the field of ABA soon after graduating. She began working as a behavior therapist at The Harris Center’s (formerly MHMRA) ABA-SkIP, which was when she found Amanda, Apara’s clinical director, as her mentor and hasn’t looked back since!
She then pursued her Master’s in Early Childhood Special Education and ABA at The University of Texas at Austin and has since returned to Houston to continue her work as a BCBA.
When not working she enjoys volunteering with the Junior League of Houston, exploring the Houston restaurant scene, and teaching classes at her local Pure Barre Studio!
Susie is looking forward to building exemplary ABA services with the rest of the clinical staff at Apara.
