Hi there! My name is Alexa Kramer, and I am the Clinical Director for The Woodlands! I joined Apara in March 2022, and I am excited to be a part of the growth and development of our newest location!

I am a New Orleans native, and I have been in Houston for 5 years. My love of ABA began in 2012, when, during my undergrad, I began working as a Registered Line Technician implementing Applied Behavior Analysis at the Baton Rouge Speech and Hearing Foundation. I received a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Louisiana State University (GEAUX TIGERS!) in 2013 and a Master of Arts in Exceptional Student Education with a concentration in Applied Behavior Analysis from The University of West Florida in 2016. I became a Board Certified Behavior Analyst in February of 2017.

I have a strong passion for early intensive behavioral intervention (EIBI). I believe ABA is a proven and effective method of teaching children with autism, and it is a great privilege to collaborate with families and team members to help individuals learn the skills they need to live a more independent life. I am thrilled to continue learning and improving my knowledge in the field with Apara Autism Center to better serve the children and families with whom I work alongside!

I am married to my wonderful husband Trey, and we have two beautiful little girls, Sutton and Leighton. My days are filled with endless Disney songs and lots of outings to the park! We also enjoy gardening in our backyard, where we like to grow tomatoes, blueberries, and peppers!
